What sets him apart isn’t just how he trains — it’s what he’s overcome. Born with a rare digestive condition, Julian had surgery at six weeks old. At age eight, he was diagnosed with sinus cancer and endured six months of chemo and radiation. He’s been cancer-free since 2009. That experience shaped how he approached life — with resilience, discipline, and a deep belief in the power of consistency and support.
When he’s not coaching, he’s playing drums or guitar in one of several bands he performs with. He’s also a lifelong animal lover with a soft spot for reptiles and unique pets.
