The holiday season is officially here and with it comes the parties, the travel, the food, and the schedule chaos. But here’s the truth: you can absolutely enjoy the holidays AND stay on track with your fitness. You don’t need to choose one or the other.
At FIIT CULTURE, we help hundreds of members stay consistent during the busiest season of the year by focusing on simple, sustainable habits. Here’s how you can do the same.
1. Prioritize Movement, Not Perfection
Your workouts may not be as long or structured as usual and that's okay. Aim for 20–30 minutes of movement daily:
- A quick bodyweight circuit
- A FIIT HYBRID class
- A walk after dinner
- A short mobility session
Small wins compound, especially during the holidays.
2. Keep Strength Training in the Mix
Strength training keeps your metabolism firing and helps offset the extra holiday treats. Even 2 strength-focused workouts per week can make a huge difference.
3. Create a Holiday Non-Negotiable
Pick 2–3 habits you WILL keep no matter what:
- Daily steps
- A water goal
- Protein with every meal
- 2 weekly workouts
Anchor to those, not perfection.
4. Balance Your Plates — Don’t Restrict Yourself
You don’t need to skip holiday foods. Instead, build your plate around:
- Protein
- Veggies
- A healthy carb
- A “fun” holiday favorite
The holidays are about celebration, not punishment.
5. Plan Ahead for Travel and Family Time
Don’t wait until the day hits. Look at your week and decide when you’re working out. Booking ahead keeps you accountable and FIIT CULTURE has plenty of morning sessions that fit the holiday schedule.
